This scaffolded investigation encourages students to explore the question,“Padraic has €10 in a money box. Every week he saves €4. How much money does he have after 5 weeks?”

Challenge questions for extending the task and clear success criteria are included as well as links to the maths specifications.

Students are encouraged to explore patters, create table and graphs and describe their findings.
